The transport connections in and around Richmond are pretty good - we have multiple train stations, a couple of tube stations (Richmond and Kew Gardens), a good bus network and many taxi cab companies.  If you're coming by car you'll be pleased to know that Richmond upon Thames is not part of the Congestion Charge area.
