The Registry Office at 1 Spring Place (T: 020 8940 2853) can accommodate up to 40 people at a cost ranging from £40 to £220 depending on the day of the week for civil weddings. TW10 6UT, T: 020 8940 0902 The Bingham is one of Richmond's award winning licensed civil wedding venues, hosting receptions in its connecting Garden Rooms, accommodating up to 90 guests for a sit-down meal or 150 for a cocktail party. The Cottage is a former royal residence. The magnificent 18th century Orangery is a stunning venue for a wedding reception for up to 200 guests. And in the summer months the Palace Pavilion Marquee is open to seat up to 400 guests. >> Lensbury Club Broom Road, Teddington, Middlesex, TW11 9NU, T: 020 8614 6450 Lensbury is right by Teddington Lock and features five function rooms, three of which are licensed for ceremonies, and can cater for a wedding reception from 6 - 200 people. >> Marble Hill House Richmond Road, Twickenham, Middlesex TW1 2NL, T: 020 7973 3416 This 18th Century Palladian mansion can hold civil wedding ceremonies in the Great Room - a rich wooden floor, high cream walls with classical decoration and views across the lawn to the river. The venue can host the wedding ceremony and offer receptions up to 140 seated guests. Very popular for summer Richmond weddings. >> The Petersham Hotel Nightingale Lane, Richmond, Surrey, TW10 6UZ. T: 020 8940 7471 Overlooking the River Thames, the Petersham can provide wedding ceremony facilities for 40 guests, and 70 for the reception. >> Richmond Gate Hotel Richmond Hill, Richmond, Surrey TW10 6RP, T: 0208 940 0061 The Richmond Gate Hotel is licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies in two of their suites and their restaurant, accommodating up to 70 guests. >> Richmond Hill Hotel Richmond Hill, Richmond upon Thames, TW10 6RW, T: 0208 940 2247 The Richmond Hill Hotel is also licensed to hold both civil wedding ceremonies and partnerships - in three rooms within the hotel for up to 180 guests. Discounts offered for Friday and Sunday weddings. >> Richmond Theatre Richmond Theatre, The Green, Richmond, Surrey, TW9 1QJ, T: 020 8332 4500 The beautiful Richmond Theatre is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies with space for receptions in the auditorium itself. One of the most unusual wedding venues in the Richmond area. >> York House 44 York Street, Twickenham, TW1 3BZ, T: 020 8831 6108 The Terrace Room and Salon are both approved for civil marriage ceremonies and partnership ceremonies - available on Friday afternoons, Saturdays and Sundays. Both rooms can also hold 70 people for a sit down wedding breakfast/reception and The Clarendon Hall can hold 150-200 people in banquet style.
