136 Brasserie 136 High Street, Teddington, TW11 8JB, T: 020 8977 3344 Great menu with a combination of French, Spanish, British and Italian fare. Try the quail brochette! Arthurs On The Green The Green, Twickenham, Middlesex, TW2 5TU, T:020 8893 3995 Arthur's is a great restaurant to eat, relax and watch the world go by on Twickenham Green. Friendly service. We also recommend their English breakfast. Barnes Grill 2-3 Rocks Lane, Barnes, SW13 0DB, T:020 8878 4488 The second Anthony Worrall-Thompson restaurant in the area, and getting more good reviews. We havent eaten here, but we love his Notting Grill and Kew Grill (see below). The Botanist on the Green 3-5 Kew Green, Kew, TW9 3AA, T: 020 8948 4838 Replacing Browns in late 2006, The Botanist has a pleasant relaxed restaurant with an unusually broad selection of beer and a long wine list by the glass as well as the bottle. For food, try the beetroot and butternut squash risotto, and then finish off with a coffee in the bar. Fantastic service and consistently excellent food. Perfect for a celebration and booking is essential. The restaurant was awarded a Michelin star in 2002. Gates on The Park The Richmond Gate Hotel, Richmond Hill, TW10 6RP, T: 020 8940 0061 The Grill Room 2 Whitton Road, Twickenham TW1 1BJ, T: 020 8891 0803 Traditional steakhouse serving British beef and English shellfish. Situated just by Twickenham station on the site of the old McClements restaurant, and almost as good. Gets very busy at weekends. Part of the Ma Cuisine group. Kew Grill 10b Kew Green, Richmond, TW9 3BH, T:020 8948 4433 Anthony Worrall Thompson owned restaurant with terrific steaks. Quite small inside so booking essential. One of the best restaurants in Richmond. Naked Turtle 505 Upper Richmond Road West, Richmond The atmosphere at the Naked Turtle is great - not just due to the clientelle and staff, but the live jazz. Good fun.				Pembrokes Restaurant Richmond Hill Hotel, Richmond, TW10 6RW, T:020 8940 2247 Petersham Nurseries Café Off Petersham Road, Richmond, TW10 7AG, T: 020 8605 3627 Pricey but excellent restaurant tucked away off the Petersham Road, serving lunch Tuesday to Sundays. A unique environment, with an award-winning book-writing Chef, Skye Gyngell. Reservations are essential. The tea house is also pretty good for a lazy afternoon reading the papers. Red Peppers 53 Broad Street, Teddington, TW11 8QZ A friendly and fun restaurant with a broad range of food from mussels to steak. The Caesar Salad is a hit. Family friendly. Restaurant at Bingham Hotel 61-63 Petersham Road, Richmond, TW10 6UT, T:020 8940 0902 The Bingham's restaurant overlooks the Thames and does an excellent dish of seared scallops. Best dessert is the chocolate trio of fondant, cream & sorbet. Restaurant at The Petersham Nightingale Lane, Richmond, TW10 6UZ, T:020 8939 1084 Classic British food with a modern twist, not to mention a stunning view over the River Thames. Awarded 2 Rosettes. One of the best restaurants in Richmond upon Thames - and the caramelised banana is one to watch out for. Restaurant 109 109 Kew Road, Richmond, TW9 2PN, T:020 8940 0050 Good food, great service and a relaxing ambiance. We love the paella at this restaurant. Restaurant Noel 136 High Street, Teddington, TW11 8JB, T: 020 8977 3344 Priding themselves on fresh produce, the Noel's menu includes classics such as Rib Eye Steak, Sea Bass and Goat's Cheese Gnocci. Rock and Rose 106, Kew Rd, Richmond, Surrey TW9 2PQ, Tel: 020 8948 8008 Glamourous restaurant on Kew Road. Good menu including classic Modern European food ranging from sea bass and burgers to pork belly and lobster.. Rocksons 17 High Street, Hampton Wick, KT1 4DA, T: 020 8977 0402 Contemporary British food with international influences. Serving brunch, lunch and dinner. Food is good, but service could be better. And unusually, they don't offer decaf coffee... The Victoria 10 West Temple Sheen, London, SW14 7RT, T: 020 8876 4238 The Victoria restaurant is a stylish converted pub with great food, atmosphere and wine. They also have 7 bedrooms in case the evening becomes a little too fluid - as well as a large conservatory, garden and play area for children . The Wharf 22 Manor Road, Teddington, TW11 8BG, T:020 8977 6333 Converted from an old boathouse, the Wharf offers contemporary cuisine, but never quite as good as we'd hope. However, it's in a great position overlooking the river.
