The steak frites is particularly good. The food is excellent, although a bit expensive for lunch unless you go with the menu prix fixe. Sister restaurant to La Buvette. La Buvette 6 Church Walk, Richmond, TW9 1SN, T:020 8940 6264 La Buvette is a wonderful local French restaurant that's cosy in the winter but has an outside courtyard for warmer weather. Tucked away in a side street it's always a safe bet for a good meal, if you're ok with small portions. The broad seafood selection is always excellent. Friendly staff, rear tables have a river view. Right next door to Tapas y Vino and The Grill Room - both owned by the Ma Cuisine group. Raefils 34 Church Street Twickenham,TW1 3NR, T. 020 8892 6366 A good French restaurant serving traditional French cuisine. Retro Bistro 114-116 High Street, Teddington, London, TW11 8JB, T: Good French food combined with good service. The set menu is very reasonably priced.
