The steak frites is particularly good. Brula Bistrot 43 Crown Road, St Margarets, TW1 3EJ T: 020 8892 0602 A great neighbourhood restaurant with warm friendly service and old-style French cooking. The food is excellent, although a bit expensive for lunch unless you go with the menu prix fixe. Sister restaurant to La Buvette. La Buvette 6 Church Walk, Richmond, TW9 1SN, T:20 8940 6264 La Buvette is a wonderful local French restaurant that’s cosy in the winter but has an outside courtyard for warmer weather. Tucked away in a side street it’s always a safe bet for a good meal, if you're ok with small portions. The broad seafood selection is always excellent. Friendly staff, rear tables have a river view. Cote 24 Hill Street, Richmond, Surrey, TW9 1TW, T: 020 8948 5971 Informal and friendly French restaurant, Cote's menu includes classic dishes such as steak frites, salad nicoise, free-range rotisserie chicken and roast sea bass. Part of a small chain of French restaurants - also in Wimbledon and Soho.				Ma Cuisine Barnes 7 White Hart Lane, Barnes, London SW13 0PX Based on a traditional 1950s French bistro, Ma Cuisine serves John McClements' simple and traditional French food on Barnes' White Hart Lane. Ma Cuisine Kew 9 Station Approach, Kew, TW9 3QB, T:20 8332 1923 The seconf of three Ma Cuisine restaurants in the area. Reasonably priced – we recommend the cassoulet and the lemon tart. Ma Cuisine Twickenham 2 Whitton Road, Twickenham, TW1 1BJ, T: 020 8744 9598 Alphabetically the third Ma Cuisine in the area, although we think this was the very first to launch. Friendly staff. Right next door to Tapas y Vino and The Grill Room - both owned by the Ma Cuisine group. Raefils 34 Church Street Twickenham,TW1 3NR, T. 020 8892 6366 A good French restaurant serving traditional French cuisine. The Red Room 14, Red Lion St, Richmond, TW9 1RW, T: 020 8948 7300 Bar and bistro opened in 1999. The menu offers simple French dishes such as chicken chasseur, as well as a good choice of French and New World wines. Also open for Sunday lunch roast. La Saveur 201 Upper Richmond Road West, East Sheen, SW14 8QT, T. 020 8940 6264 La Saveur is a sister restaurant to La Buvette in Richmond and Brula Bistrot in St Margarets.
