Thanks to everyone who has engaged with the forum so far. It's intended to give (us) locals a chance to express our opinions, share insights and generally have a greater sense of community. Please feel free to post new topics or reply to existing topics - just register first otherwise the system wont let you!
If you run a local business i'm happy for you to post news of events or offers on a sensible basis if there's actually new news. But please don't jam the forum with 'we are open', 'we are open', 'we are open'

Due to a lot of spam from China and Russia, i have had to put a couple of extra security questions on the registration process so that it requires a human to answer - they may seem a bit dumb, but they confuse the spamming computers, for now.
That's it for now. I hope we don't need to many rules. I'm hoping this can become a place that can raise a smile as well as a frown.
