The Orange Tree - London's only permanent
theatre in the round. A good night's

Twickenham
Stadium is used for more than sporting events - it's a
great venue for concerts - recently artists such as The
Police, Rod Stewart and U2 have played at
Twickenham.

The Richmond Shakespeare Society is a
highly-respected amateur dramatic society based at the
Mary Wallace Theatre in Twickenham. There are
opportunities to get involved in every area of the
theatre and auditions are held regularly.
Another local theatre group, the Teddington
Theatre Club, are based at the
Hampton Hill Playhouse. Tickets cost between
£8 and £10 and recent performances have included The
Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, and Lady Windermere's
Fan.
Richmond Concert Society is celebrating its 45th
season, and holds performances in a number of venues
around the Richmond upon Thames area, including The
German School in Petersham, St Margarets Catholic Church
and St Mary's Church Twickenham.
Twickenham Choral Society is a friendly thriving
choir of over 100 voices drawing singers of all ages
from a wide area of West London.
Q2 Players are Kew's
leading amateur theatre company, performing at
Alexandra Hall, St
Luke's, The Avenue, Kew.
Kew Sinfonia was
founded more than twenty years ago by a group of local
music-lovers, prominent among them Antony and Marie-José
Sadler, who felt that Kew should have its own orchestra.
Formed in 1984,
Kew Wind Orchestra is
renowned for its popular and challenging repertoire of
symphonic, classical and jazz music
BROS Theatre Company
are celebrating their centenary year. Local shows are
regularly performed at Richmond Theatre and the Hampton
Hill Playhouse.
