Richmond Running Festival

The Richmond Running Festival is all set for Sunday September 22nd and has three great running events.

The Visit Richmond Half Marathon and the Kew Gardens 10K both start in Kew Gardens and finish in Old Deer Park, and the Nike Kids’ Mile is run entirely within Old Deer Park.

If you’re not running, there’s still lots to do beside watching the competitors raise money for charity with their athletic ability.

There will be a Fullers beer garden, live bands on the Crawdaddy Club stage, kids activities including a mobile farm, the physios from St Mary’s Clinic will be offering free massages, and apparently they’ll be announcing a King and Queen, Prince and Princesses of Richmond…. just what we needed 😉

We also expect to see some local Olympians…

Lots more information at the official website, but you can also watch a video filmed with organiser Tom Bedford at the launch of the festival back in June.
